What Happens After Title Live: Distribution, Royalties, and Next Books

Title Live is the Phase 6 milestone when your book is published into distribution and the project transitions into a Published Title in the AuthorShelf portal.

What changes in the portal

  • The book moves from active production phases into Titles
  • Royalty reporting becomes relevant as channel data arrives
  • You can still message the team and manage account settings
  • Projects list stays for any other books still in production

Royalties after launch

You keep 100% of net royalties. Net is channel earnings minus manufacturing print costs for units sold — not a permanent publisher revenue share. See How Royalties Work and the Royalties tab after data imports.

Marketing reality check

Distribution access is not the same as guaranteed sales. Launch assets (depending on package) help, but ongoing discoverability still depends on your positioning, reviews, and consistent marketing. Avoid anyone selling guaranteed bestsellers.

Starting another title

Lifetime portal access means your next book can start from the same account: new project, Title Setup wizard, six phases again. Many authors use lessons from book one to choose a different tier on book two.
