Amazon publishing submission guidelines (KDP) are file and metadata rules. Amazon will not edit the book. If the file fails spec, the title does not go live — or it goes live looking wrong.
What KDP checks
- Interior: trim, margins, fonts, images (print PDF) or a valid eBook file
- Cover: eBook image size, or a print wrap with correct spine
- Metadata: title, contributors, description, categories, keywords, price
- Preview: you are supposed to actually read it
