AuthorShelf packages are priced transparently from Spark $399 through Ultimate $2,989. At checkout you can usually choose pay in full or an optional Milestone Plan for staged payments.
Pay in full
Best when you want the simplest path: one payment, package locked, production can move as soon as Title Setup is complete and any required agreements are accepted. No Milestone Plan Setup Fee.
Milestone Plan
Best when cash flow needs breathing room. You pay a deposit at checkout and remaining installments on dates or milestones shown in your Service Order and portal. A one-time $149 Milestone Plan Setup Fee applies — an administrative convenience fee, not interest.
What does not change
- Package inclusions stay the same
- You still keep 100% rights and net royalties
- Lifetime portal access is still included
- Installment follow-up payments do not create junk second projects
How to decide
- If the full package is comfortable in one payment → pay in full.
- If you need staged cash flow and accept the $149 setup fee → Milestone Plan.
- If you are unsure which tier to buy → book a readiness call first; payment path is secondary to fit.
