AuthorShelf is built for authors who want professional publishing without a confusing process or hidden fees. You choose a package, set up your title in the Author Portal, and track every step from manuscript through distribution.

How it works

  1. Create your account at Create Account.
  2. Choose a package on our Publishing Packages page and complete checkout (pay in full or spread payments with our milestone plan).
  3. Set up your title in the portal using the 11-step New Title form (Dashboard → Add New Title).
  4. Follow your project workflow — upload files, review proofs, and approve phases as your book moves through production.
  5. Track royalties in the Royalties and Reports tabs after your book is live.

Your Author Portal

Everything happens in one place: Author Portal. The sidebar gives you Dashboard, Projects, Published Titles, Royalties, Messages, Account, and more. Open any project's View Details page to see the full six-phase workflow, tasks, uploads, and team messages.
